Haircare tips from Millies

Take Care of your Hair

  1. Be careful about using hair care products with too much protein. Too much protein can leave your hair feeling desiccated and brittle especially if you don’t need it. While protein is the building block of healthy hair, just make sure you are not overloading your hair first. Kerastase shampos and haircare products are recommended by us.

  2. Frizz-control serums are brilliant if used in small quantities to tame frizzes. Make sure you do not use too much, and wash once a week with a deep-cleanse shampoo to avoid build-up, which will leave hair looking dull and flaky.

  3. Rinse your hair with vinegar before shampooing.  Old Wife’s Tale! Vinegar helps to make your hair look shinier and cleaner; plus, it’s a great treatment for dandruff. Use 1 part vinegar (preferably organic apple cider vinegar) to 3 parts warm water, then rinse and wash your hair as normal.

  4. Moisturize your hair. These are 5 great oils that will hydrate your hair an get it deep nourishment: almond, castor, olive, coconut and lavender oils. Mix together equal proportions of each. Apply to the hair and leave in for four hours prior to showering out.

  5. Let hair dry naturally. –if you can every so often but if not use quality producta like GHD hair tools

  6. Don’t brush your hair too much. Brushing your hair stimulates the follicles which promotes growth, but brushing too much too often, will cause damage to your hair.

Invest in good haircare and the rewards will show themselves. Brands to really consider: Kerastase are the leading brand in haircare, second to none, they have everything for every hair concern.
